First “Fragrance of Bach Dang pomelo” festival to be held

To celebrate the New Year 2017, the 20^th anniversary of the province’s reestablishment (January 1, 1997-January 1, 2017) and the 3^rd anniversary of its establishment (April 1, 2014-April 1, 2017), Tan Uyen town will organize the first “Fragrance of Bach Dang pomelo” festival 2017 in Bach Dang commune from January 7 to 8, 2017.

The festival aims to honor the local outstanding pomelo growers, thereby encouraging them to further preserve and uphold this growing. It will also be a chance to popularize a collective brand name for Bach Dang pomelo when the local pomelo harvest season for the 2017 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival approaches. This contributes to increasing the value of Bach Dang pomelo brand name.
