On November 23, at Provincial Children House, Binh Duong Provincial Youth’s League coordinated with Institution for International Culture Exchange of South Korea to organize the 2nd Cultural Exchange Festival “Vietnamese – Korean Color” in 2013 Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi (far right) is offering presents to Korean representatives in the night of art performance The festival of colorful cultural features of the two nations offered the youths with more understanding of Vietnamese and Korean peoples in tight friendship.The festival was part of activities marking 40 years of friendly tie of Vietnam and South Korea in Binh Duong Province.Getting to the festival, students of the two nations had their opportunities to take part into meaningful activities of food fair, nail arts, making-up, tea ceremony, and photography of traditional clothes.The art performing program was conducted by Samulnori Troupe of South Korea and Traditional Music Group of Binh Duong Province to offer audiences with sentiments for the traditional music.Mr. Kim Jin Bae, Director of the institute said: “I came to Vietnam over 20 years ago. The two nations have been of similarity in developmental history, thus, the music is oriented to country, nature, and the homeland. I am hopeful that the young Koreans would be more knowledgeable of Vietnamese music in this event.”Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Youth’s League said: “The event was favorable opportunity for international exchange of Korea and Vietnam and further conditions for Korean enterprises to open their investment window to Vietnam as well as Vietnamese immigrating to South Korea for studying, working, and residing.
