Golf court development in Binh Duong Province well implemented

Such was the assessment of Bui Tat Thang, the Director of Central Development Strategy Institution on his working survey of golf court development in Binh Duong Province. Receiving the delegation was Tran Thanh Liem, the Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee and representatives of departments, sectors and localities.

Currently, 4 golf court projects have been licensed by local provincial People’s Committee in line with land-use planning with total registered capital of US$ 200.4 million. On the other hand, the projects are conformed to Decision No. 1946/QD-TTg dated November 26, 2009 of Prime Minister on approval of golf court planning in Vietnam until 2020. The golf court projects after being licensed will be under demand of provincial People’s Committee for related departments and sectors to coordinate and monitor for timely resolution of difficulties and obstacles that investment may face during the project implementation.

On hearing reports and implementing on-site surveying trips, the delegation evaluated that Binh Duong Province has well implemented the related regulations in developing and maintaining golf courts in the locality. Accordingly, the delegation hoped that Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee and golf investment corporations, for the time to come, would comment and propose to Central Development Strategy Institution regarding this field.
