Ho Chi Minh and State Awards honour science and technology achievements

On February 14th, the Ministry of Science and Technology held a press briefing on the presentation of the 2010 Ho Chi Minh Awards and State Awards on science and technology.

 

Ho Chi Minh Awards will be granted to 12 people, while the State Awards will have 20 recipients.

These awards aim to honour scientists whose work has high value and great effect on social life, contributing to socio-economic development, national defence and security.

 

Those recognized with the awards will receive an Award Certificate of the State President, along with 200 million VND for Ho Chi Minh Awards and 120 million VND for State Awards.

 

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s channel VTV1./
