The Hanoi Television Station (HTV) will air the Barclays English Premier League for free in the second consecutive year.

In Vietnam, HTV is the only broadcaster offering this football tournament for free. At a press conference in Hanoi yesterday, August 11, HTV announced to air the event on HTV1 and HTV2 channels. HTV will broadcast seven games in each round, except for those on Sunday, including at least three live games. Before and after each game, football experts will make comments. This is the second consecutive year in the three-year schedule the HTV airs the Barclays English Premier League free of charge. The broadcaster commits to try at its best to purchase the broadcasting right of this event in subsequent years, even when it suffers economic losses. Its two channels – HTV1 and HTV2 – now cover the entire northern region and part of the central region. Southern viewers can watch the event through cable TV systems.
