It has been 36 years since the establishment day (October 2nd 1977 – October 2nd 2013), Binh Duong Television (BTV) has performed well their political duties, improved broadcast quality as well as widen coverage to meet audience’s needs.  Excellent individuals received credits on occasion of the 36th foundation dayAt the beginning, Song Be Radio – Television in 1977 had only 38 staff. At the present time, BTV has 332 staff, 14 offices, 1 agent, 1 service center. All has the same objective that is building a strong organization, fulfill political tasks, and satisfy audiences.BTV Director Do Van Trung said, propaganda task of BTV always embraces guidelines from Central Propaganda and Training Committee, provincial Party Propaganda and Training Committee, provincial People’s Committee, Broadcast Managing Department. BTV has focused on propaganda of Central resolution, laws, the movement of Learning and following uncle Ho’s moral example, big anniversaries, People’s Council meetings etc. BTV has also increased dissemination, education on laws, marine sovereignty, economic potentiality, tourism etc. Two correspondent groups were assigned to work long –time in Truong Sa, DK1 Nha Gian for detailed, updated news about life and readiness spirit for combating of naval soldiers. Regarding to broadcasting, BTV has now about 120 television programs, nearly 90 radio programs including 75% of self-produced programs. Some remarkable programs from Thematic Office, Law Propaganda Office, Science Education Office etc. are: Democratic forum, Industry and Urban, New Countryside, Voice of Voters etc. Cultural Office also has had meaningful programs commemorating big anniversaries, broadcasted 4,000 film episodes, 444 music shows, 270 kid programs, 200 theatrical programs etc., which were monitored by Management Board and pleased audiences.Facing a fierce competition from digital televisions, BTV Deputy Director Truong Van Sang said: “BTV’s Party Committee, Management Board have encouraged our staff to strive for better professional and ethics. Technical infrastructure is usually maintained to ensure constant broadcasting”. Currently, BTV1 channel is telecasted on Analog, BTV2 and other channels are broadcasted on digital television, cable television, Vina SAT, My TV, K+ etc.Some reporters, MCs have become familiar faces to audiences, like: Bich Lan, Thu Thuy, Xuan Tri… They keep devoting themselves to their works.
