Joy comes early to young workers

The spring atmosphere has brought early to young workers and those with difficult circumstances through the program of “Sharing Tet, prosperity in the year of Dragon” just hosted by provincial Youth Union and Thuan An city’s Youth Union.

“Sharing Tet, prosperity in the year of Dragon”

Inheriting and promoting the country’s fine tradition of "good leaves cover torn leaves" while creating more motivation for Youth Union members, young workers and direct laborers to continue their efforts to excel in production, the program “Sharing Tet, prosperity in the year of Dragon” bears the message of spreading the spirit of sharing, promoting the traditional cultural beauty of Vietnamese Tet. The program took place in a bustling atmosphere with a variety of entertainment activities such as picking buds on yellow apricot trees, taking photos with Tet decoration corners...On this occasion, young workers also enjoyed musical performances in celebration of the spring, helping have more motivation to overcome difficulties and look forward to a more prosperous new year.

The Organization Board of the Sharing Tet, prosperity in the year of Dragon program gives gifts for young workers with difficult circumstances

Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Head of the Youth Union Central Committee’s Rural Youth Department said: "The program of “Sharing Tet, prosperity in the year of Dragon” is part of the community activities for the 2024 Lunar New Year co-held by the Youth Union Central Committee and Saigon Beer for 3 targetted subjects, including laborers affected by the economic recession after the Covid-19 pandemic, fishermen and border guards in 25 provinces and cities nationwide. The Youth Union Central Committee has directed the Youth Union of each locality to select 400 people for giving gifts from the program. Hopefully, the program will give them more motivation to overcome difficulties and welcome a warmer Tet."

“Leaving no one be behind”

With the theme of Sharing Tet, prosperity in the year of Dragon”, the Tet community journey series will stretch across 25 provinces and cities nationwide to give away more than 10,400 gifts with a total value of over VND 7.4 billion. Each gift is as encouragement, practical support and a wish for peace, wishing a warm spring to everyone and every home. In Binh Duong province, the organization board of the program awarded 400 Tet gifts worth VND700,000 each, including necessities and cash, to Youth Union members, youth workers and those with difficult circumstances.

Nguyen Minh Kha, a worker at Dong An Industrial Park shared: "This year, I won’t return home for Tet, due to have economic difficulties. Receiving this gift, I am very happy because getting attention from all-level Youth Unions, helping me have the joy of Tet coming early...". Whilst, Dao Thi My Hanh from the sub-union No.9 for young workers at the lodging facility  in Thuan An city’s Thuan Giao ward shared: "I am very happy when getting the attention of all-level authorities amid current difficulties. I hope I will face a lot of luck in the New Year and my work will be better than last year."

Tet is approaching. During the period, all-level Party committees, authorities, mass organizations and individuals of the province have been mobilized resources to take care of difficult cases with the motto of "Leaving no one behind". With small gifts, workers in Binh Duong will feel warmer on the threshold of the Lunar New Year...
