June 1, Provincial Children House has jubilantly held “Children Festival in Binh Duong” 2014 with majority of children from districts, towns, and Thu Dau Mot City. The children is showing their painting talents in piggy bank decoration This is a part of activities to celebrate International Day and “A month of actions for children” while creating meaningful playground for children from Council of Young Pioneer and Provincial Children House.Joining the festival, the children experienced games and entertainment while training up their skills to be more confident and independent in creativity and community integration through meaningful activities. Aside from folk games, they were offered with food stalls, a place of folk games and piggy bank decoration organized by Thu Dau Mot City Youth’s League.As for piggy bank decoration, about 300 youngster painters enjoyed showing their dreams, ideas, and thoughts about the home land, the people, the ocean and island territory, the surounding environment, the handicraft villages of Binh Duong Province, the new theme parks and urban areas.Besides, to encourage the “little angels” to join sports and physical training, Provincial Children House introduced skill subjects, entertaining and learning environment.The brand names similar to Abbott Grow were present at the festival to offer gifts to children. Fahasa of Binh Duong Branch introduced and gave away comic books to children. Binh Duong Provincial Library held book and painting exhibition about home lnad ocean and islands.The participating children were also attracted to performances and songs acted out by clubs and groups of skillful children of Provincial Children House.Mr. Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, Deputy Director of Provincial Children House said: “For this year, more new features are introduced to the festival on June 1 with more decoration for propaganda of Spratly and Paracels Islands and piggy bank decoration.”For 2014 summer, Provincial Children House shall organize various activities for children including camping and skill classes in coordination with movie and stage schools.With plenty of activities the festival is promising to impress and create social effects of celebrating activities for children.Reported by Thuc Van – Translated by Vi Bao
