Kajihara Yumi wins seventh stage of Binh Duong int’l women’s cycling race

The seventh stage of the sixth Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Race-Biwase Cup 2016 concluded yesterday, Mar.14.

Kajihara Yumi of Japan excellently defeated her rivals to win the 111km-stage from Ninh Thuan’s Thuan Nam district to Binh Thuan’s Phan Thiet city with total time of 2:56:37 and average speed of 37.7km/hour. Lam Thi Kim Ngan of An Giang Plant Protection and Chanpeng Nontasin of Thailand came in second and third, respectively. Jer Ling Serene of Biwase took eighth position in the stage.

Kaneko Hiromi of Japan still held the yellow jersey for the best overall time after 7 stages. It was followed by Phetdarin Somrat of Thailand and Nguyen Thi That of Loc Troi An Giang Corporation. Pham Hong Nhung of Biwase continued retaining the white jersey for the best young cyclist.

Japan, Thailand and Biwase still continued taking first, second and third positions in the team ranking after 7 stages.

Today morning, Mar.15, cyclists will compete in the 120km-eighth stage from Binh Thuan’s Phan Thiet city to Vung Tau city.
