On Jan. 13, the provincial People’s Committee held a summing up conference of legal dissemination and education 2014 and launched plan for 2015. Attending the conference were Vo Van Minh, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee cum chairman of the provincial Council for Legal Dissemination and Education along with some leaders of departments, agencies, units and enterprises.
In the past year, the local work on legal dissemination and education showed a positive change. Building and launching of the plan was very synchronous and close to key tasks.
The mediation work at grassroot level won many encouraging results. Specifically, the number of mediation cases decreased significantly and rate of successful mediation cases increased 1.6% compared with 2013 and surpassed 2% of the set goal.
Addressing the conference, Vo Van Minh stressed that the provincial Council for Legal Dissemination and Education should in the coming time improve shortcomings and further uphold the done achievements in the work on legal dissemination and education; give priorities for laborers at enterprises; improve efficiency of the concerted work between departments, agencies, localities and enterprises and among others.
On this occasion, the provincial People’s Committee granted merit certificates to 9 collectives for their excellent achievement in legal dissemination and education in the past year.
