Local ethnic culture taught at schools in Gia Lai province

Culture of the Bahnar ethnic minority group has been taught for students at Mang Yang district ethnic boarding school in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.   Bahnar ethnic minority group.

Students at the school are learning how to play Bahnar musical instruments such as gongs and how to sing children’s songs. These practical and useful extra-curricular activities drew the participation of many students.

Therefore, Mang Yang district ethnic boarding school has made positive shifts in different fields, ensuring teaching and learning quality and becoming a national standard school.

At the school, cultural and art clubs were established. Students volunteered to study the cultures of specific ethnic minority groups, creating a useful forum for them to join. Currently, 150 ethnic minority students are studying at the school. 80% of them are Bahnar and 20% of them are from other groups, such as Nung and Thai. /.
