Local sports sector further boosts socialization, develops high-achievement sports

Early October 28, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to review the 10-year implementation of the Vietnam sports development strategy and the development plan of the province’s sports development for the 2010-2020 period.

Reportedly, the province’s sports sector reached great strides over the past 10 years. Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Loc Ha, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee spoke highly of achievements done by the local sports sector over the past time while suggesting the sector to further carry out its development strategy, boost socialization, have good coordination in physical education in school as a foundation for high-achievement sports development…

At the conference, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 25 collectives and 38 individuals. Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also presented the certificates of merit to 22 collectives and 32 individuals with contributions to the province’s sports development strategy over the past 10 years.
