On occasion of the 68th August Revolution Day (August 19th 1945 – August 19th 2013) and National Independence Day (September 2nd 1945 – September 2nd 2013), appropriate sectors and localities are going to organize many cultural – sport events to serve people on these holidays.  Many cultural – sport activities celebrating National Independence Day • The most exciting event on this occasion is Binh Duong Music Bands Festival 2013 held by the Department of Culture, Sport & Tourism at provincial Culture – Movies Center from August 29th to 30th. The festival will gather 7 teams from Culture Information – Sport Centers (CISCs) of localities across the province. Besides, CISCs of localities hosted many remarkable cultural activities, namely, evening August 28th, Dau Tieng district CISC held cultural show commemorating the 68th Independence Day with participation of artists from Mass Art group of Dai Tieng CISC at Victory Statue. Evening August 29th, a special show with performances praising revolutionary tradition of our soldiers and people and some young animated performances will be arranged the Mass Art group at Di An town CISC. There were also items of circus, prestidigitation, comedy performed by HCM City’s artists.• Thuan An town CISC cooperate with regional Youth Union to organize Propagandize Revolutionary Song contest 2013 at town CISC (evening August 30th) and Trinh Hoai Duc high school (evening August 31st). In the evening of August 31st, at My Phuoc Theater, Ben Cat district’s CISC will hold a cultural event celebrating the Independence Day. Evening September 2nd, TDM City CISC will organize a special show celebrating the national holiday, performed by the Mass Art group TDM City CISC, Friends dance group and some HCM City artists at Phu Cuong ward People’s Committee. • Tan Uyen district and Thanh Phuoc commune’s CISC host cooperatively Boat racing contest the 7th Sport Games of Tan Uyen district 2013. 8 teams including 6 teams of Tan Uyen and 2 teams from Vinh Cuu district and Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai province) will take part in the contest. On September 2nd, CISC will organize Male volleyball competition with participation of 4 football groups from enterprises and Uyen Hung town at local stadium. Also on this occasion, Football competition Sport Games gathering 28 teams from communes, businesses, will compete for medals and close on September 7th. • On August 31st, Di An town CISC will host Chau Thoi mountain bike contest Sport Games of Di An town. More than 35 athletes registered and will bike in a distance of 1,200m. on September 2nd, CISC will organize a bike, motorcycle demonstration around main streets within Di An town. On September 1st, Male football tournament Sport Games will begin its quarter-final at regional stadium.• On August 31st and September 1st, Dau Tieng district CISC will hole the final of Football tournament Sport Games with participation of 12 football teams from communes and towns. In addition, on September 5th and 6th, CISC will arrange Billiards and TDDS Competition.• On this occasion, TDM City will organize the opening of TDM Sport Games on August 31st at Phu Loi ward Culture Sport Center.
