Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien
Nhan on Jan. 6 launched an action month on food safety and hygiene 2012 with
the theme of “ensuring food safety in Tet holiday and festivals”. At the
launching ceremony held at Friendship Culture House, the deputy PM asked the
Health Ministry to cooperate with ministries and agencies to spur promulgations
and inspections on food safety and hygiene, to solve violations strictly and so
on.
In addition, media should further
promulgate the campaign to customers and food production and business workshops
in a bid to change customers’ awareness and habituation of using food.
