The need for more training grounds, fitness centers, and diversified types of sport activities is increasingly becoming necessary. To catch up this trend, Tan Uyen town has actively launched socialization movement in culture and sports and has initially flourished.

From successful models

Tan Uyen town has now 30 mini-football fields, 14 gym centers, 3 tennis courts, 6 swimming pools, 6 badminton courts... Huy Hoa gym center in Uyen Hung ward is a private club with many bodybuilding equipment and tools. The space is quite spacious and airy with about 20 machines. This center has attracted not only a large number of young men but also many women. Huynh Thanh Hoa, the club's director, said: "On average, there are more than 50 participants every day. The price is only 180,000 VND per person, so the club has a large membership. Along with fitness clubs, mini-football fields are also attracting many investors. TyTy mini-football field in Uyen Hung ward was put into use more than 2 years ago with nearly VND2 billion of investment capital, is attracting a large number of athletes and football enthusiasts. The rent is 100,000 VND / hour.

In order to meet the needs for sport and recreation activities, the town will have more swimming pools in 14 communes, wards and public physical training zones. All investment capital was contributed by socialization source. Dinh Quoc Phu, Head of Culture and Information Office of Tan Uyen town, said: "To implement socialization policy in culture and sports, Culture and Information Office of Tan Uyen town received deep concern and guidance of local Party, People's Committee with the enthusiastic support of local people. Therefore, socialization work has changed a lot, facilities for sports activities have been invested and upgraded, attracting a large number of people to participate in sports and physical training. The achievements in this field contributed to the building and improving the quality of human resources serving the locality.

Outstanding achievements

For the implementation of socialization in the field of culture and sports in the period 2017-2020, People's Committee of Tan Uyen Town called for and encouraged units, enterprises, donors to fund cultural institutions. The town People's Committee has successfully called for socialization, investments in infrastructure for Culture Sports - Community Learning Center, such as: Swimming pool, multi-purpose stadium, badminton court, tennis court (local Center for Culture and Sports) with a total investment capital of about VND3 billion; Mini-football field (Thai Hoa ward Center for Culture - Sports) about VND600 million. At present, the town People's Committee is calling for socialization of swimming pool in Thai Hoa ward and Tan Phuoc Khanh ward with a total investment capital of about VND 6 billion. In addition, there are 110 establishments providing cultural and sport services in town, with 100% investment from socialization by private businesses, without using the State budget.

Nguyen Thi Kim Nguyen, Vice Chairwoman of Tan Uyen town People's Committee, said that socialization in culture and sports field helped the locality save resources for development so that the entire population could enjoy benefits of cultural and sports activities. Therefore, communes and wards in the area continue to enhance dissemination of the Party and State policies on socialization in field of culture and sports for organizations and people to better implement the policy.
