NA Chairman receives President of Hungary State Audit Office Source

On January 8, Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Sinh Hung received a delegation from the State Audit Office of Hungary led by President Laszlo Domokos.

Hung said the visit will help promote the cooperative relationship between the two State Audit Offices.

Vietnam will always pay heed to building and completing legal frameworks for auditing activities, he said. The Vietnamese NA supports the cooperation between the State Audit Office of Vietnam and international partners, including Hungary, he added.

Domokos briefed Hung on the outcomes of a joint working session between the two auditing agencies.

Earlier on the same day, a new cooperation agreement between the two auditing agencies was signed. The agreement focuses on anti-corruption and audit training.
