Nearly 3 million hits to provincial website

Yesterday of February 21, Department of Information and Communication reported of website hits from January 20, 2009 to December 31, 2010 in a meeting host by Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Van Nhi who highly appreciated efforts made by the department in improving quality of provincial website.

For the mentioned time, 3,807 articles have been posted together with 450 legal documents, 1,818 provincial administrative formalities, 230 district and communal administrative formalities. Besides, working schedules of Provincial People’s Committee are frequently updated on weekly basis. Thus, nearly 3 million hits were reported.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Huynh Van Nhi called upon the department to maintain the website and fix technical loopholes in the face of inter-connection with other websites and news broadcasters.
