In the school year of 2011-2012, blocs for high school and continuing education will start new school year on Aug. 15 whilst 12th graders will start the new academic year on Aug. 8. Besides, nursery schools will start on Aug. 22.

According to allocated schedule, pre-schools and primary schools will study within 35 weeks, secondary and high schools will complete learning within 37 weeks whilst continuing education will have 33 weeks for study. Days off will be implemented according to the Labor Code’s regulations.

The total summer vacation for teachers at pre-schools, high schools and continuing schools will include 2 months.
