Early September 26, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation and comrades in provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of a number of departments, sectors and Thu Dau Mot city visited and checked the operation of the mobile medical station located at provincial Buddhist Junior College in Phu Cuong ward’s quarter 1 in Thu Dau Mot city. The delegation also visited, encouraged and offered gifts to more than 100 people, including 48 F0 cases in Phu Cuong ward’s quarter 1, who are being isolated and treated at home with the support of the mobile medial station.
Upholding mobile medical station’s effectiveness
Reporting to the delegation, Truong Thi Thu Hien, Secretary of Phu Cuong ward’s Party Committee, Head of the ward’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control said that the mobile medical station located at provincial Buddhist Junior College includes 10 members. In addition, the station has the support of community-based anti-Covid-19 groups, volunteers, and Youth Union members, especially with the participation of the consulting group with leaders who are former Director of provincial General Hospital and former Head of the ward’s Health Station. The locality has also mobilized volunteers who are recovered F0 cases to participate in treating and handling related issues such as epidemiological investigation, F1 tracing, testing, and care and treatment of patients at their place of residence as well as at the mobile medical station of the ward. The station can receive and collect about 100 F0 cases for isolation and treatment. It is equipped with oxygen tanks, treatment drugs and some basic equipment to serve care and treatment of F0 cases.
Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Loi emphasized that mobile medical stations will play an important role in Covid-19 prevention and control when the province returns to the new normal state.
Provincial Party Committee Secretary graciously visited and encouraged forces at the mobile medical station and wanted that the local leaders should pay attention to taking care of and ensuring living and working conditions for medical staff and participating forces. Regarding Covid-19 prevention and control in Thu Dau Mot city, provincial Party Committee Secretary noted that over the past time, the city had a few of small Covid-19 outbreaks. Bringing the mobile medical station to these pandemic outbreaks has upheld the local results in controlling and stamping out the pandemic. This shows that the birth of mobile medical stations to handle pandemic outbreaks, with the active participation of community-based anti-Covid-19 groups will better promote pandemic prevention and control in the coming time.
Bringing mobile medical station to place with pandemic outbreak
Visiting, encouraging and offering gifts to more than 100 people, including 48 F0 cases in Phu Cuong ward’s quarter 1, who are being isolated and treated at home with the support of the mobile medical station, provincial Party Committee Secretary spoke highly of the organization of anti-Covid-19 forces with the synchronous participation of the local political system, in which there are the role of the quarter head cum quarter Party cell secretary, the active support of community-based anti-Covid-19 groups, medical, police and military forces to ensure security and order, logistics and support people in isolation areas.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary noted that for areas where new Covid-19 outbreaks have occurred, it is necessary for localities to quickly conduct epidemiological investigation to identify F1 cases for on-site quarantine while conducting Covid-19 testing to detect F0 cases. Emphasizing that this is an important stage in the local fight against the pandemic, transitioning from pandemic prevention and control to the "new normal" phase, provincial Party Committee Secretary said that the province's pandemic prevention and control will be implemented under the motto of "fighting the pandemic right in quarters, hamlets" in the spirit that relevant forces will be sent to where there are F0 cases for on-site Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment. Therefore, mobile medical stations will uphold results in the local Covid-19 prevention and control in the coming time.
Provincial Party Committee Secretary and members of the delegation also met and visited forces at Phu Cuong ward’s mobile health station located in quarter 1 to monitor, treat 48 F0 cases and supervise the observance of regulations on medical quarantine for people in the area. Provincial Party Committee Secretary wanted that relevant forces will further make efforts to overcome difficulties and promote their sense of responsibility to take good care of people's health.
Provincial Party Committee Secretary emphasized that one of the local mobile medical stations’ key tasks is to focus on well doing management and treatment of F0 cases. They must ensure good management of recovered F0 cases that need to further perform home isolation under prescribed time. In the coming time, the number of mobile medical stations in the province is expected to be multiplied to 150 to bring healthcare closer to people, ensuring public healthcare, meeting requirements of Covid-19 prevention-control and treatment for Covid-19 patients being isolated and treated at their place of residence. Home isolation and treatment will be a normal activity when the province returns to its “new normal” state.
