On Oct. 8, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi and reps of departments and relevant agencies paid a working session with Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s directorate to discuss implementation of constructing the university’s second base located at the province and to suggest the university to help the province train human resources for the locality in the coming time.

After hearing about report of the university, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi applauded the university leaders’ determination in building the second base in the locality and agreed on launching the Center for Experimental Surgery at a new urban area.

In addition, the provincial leaders and functional agencies will facilitate the university’s soon completion of second base. In terms of assistance on human resources for the locality, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi suggested the university to help the provincial medical sector train manpower for the locality.
