On Dec.2, provincial Sponsoring Society for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients and provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs jointly held a get-together to mark the International Day for Persons with Disabilities and the 2nd conference honoring outstanding disable people, orphans and donors.

 

Trung Thao Electric Appliances Center donating VND20mln to the Fund of the provincial Sponsoring Society for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients

 In 2010 alone, provincial Sponsoring Society for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients mobilized more than VND1.3bln to support disable people and orphans via many substantial forms, including building unity houses, awarding scholarships…

 On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 28 collectives and 34 individuals for their excellent performance in the sponsoring task and disable people and orphans who managed to overcome difficulties to rise up and actively got involved in the local social activities between 2008 and 2010.

At the conference, participating businesses and donors also subscribed more than VND850mln to the Fund of the provincial Sponsoring Society for the Disabled, Orphans and Poor Patients.
