Overseas Vietnamese proud of Binh Duong’s development

Joy for local development

Overseas Vietnamese were happy after hearing about reports on local development presented by the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi. In the past year, local situation of culture, society and economics reached significant changes and won the proposed goals. He affirmed that local leaders always believe in community of Overseas Vietnamese and consider them as a unseperated part and a precious source for the locality. “Local leaders and people always hope that Overseas Vietnamese contribute to their homeland. The local administration will offer the most favorable conditions for Overseas Vietnamese to visit, invest and develop the locality”, added he.  the provincal Fatherland Front Committee chairman Pham Van Canh talks to Overseas Vietnamese.

Most of the Overseas Vietnamese visiting works at Binh Duong New City expressed their joy and surprise on the future city. Cao Linh, a Vietnamese-Singaporean said “Binh Duong New City is not less beautiful than Singapore” whilst Dinh Tri Nam, a Vietnamese-Canadian felt proud of Binh Duong’s development.   

New Spring with full of significance

A couple Nguyen Van Ngoc, Vietnamese-French were surprised of Binh Duong’s rapid development. They said that they were very happy to enjoy Tet in their homeland in Phu Cuong ward, Thu Dau Mot town. Meanwhile, Tran Kim Ngoc, a Vietnamese-American, said “We are eager to welcome Tet in our homeland. Binh Duong’s rapid and positive change make us happy”.   Warm and jubilant ambience at the year end party.

Sharing with the Overseas Vietnamese, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee chairman Pham Van Canh, said “Annually, local leaders often hold a get-together to gather Overseas Vietnamese on Tet. In this year, we hold the year end party at Binh Duong New City with the purpose of helping Overseas Vietnamese witness local development. We hope that Overseas Vietnamese will contribute more to the local development”.

The get-together left warm and frank love for Overseas Vietnamese, showing local leaders’ attention to them. Tran Kim Ngoc added “The year end party seems to make happy stories be lengthened”.
