On January 6, Le Van Phuoc, Director of Provincial Museum, informed that "Phu Chanh wood weaving toolkit" of Binh Duong province was recognized as a national treasure.
Accordingly, on December 31st 2020, the Prime Minister had a decision on the recognition of national treasures (phase 9). There were 24 artifacts and groups of exhibits recognized in this phase, including "Phu Chanh wood weaving toolkit" of Binh Duong Province. "Phu Chanh wood weaving toolkit" dating back to the end of the 3rd century BC - 1st century AD; is currently preserved at Provincial Museum.
In total, up to now Binh Duong has had 3 national treasures. In addition to the "Phu Chanh wood weaving toolkit" recognized in this 9th phase, there are "Doc Chua animal statue", which was previously recognized as a national treasure in 2013, and the "Phu Chanh wooden burial jar with bronze drum”, which was recognized in 2018.
