On Aug. 23, An Phu ward Fatherland Front Committee in Thuan An town paid a gift visit to local talented disadvantaged students. 10 gifts, each worth VND500,000 were presented to 10 students.

Nguyen Thi Long, chairwoman of An Phu ward Fatherland Front Committee, said local donors annually grant gifts to local poor students on the occasion of new school year.

Since the start of this year, the ward committee has cooperated with mass bodies to mobilize and present gifts to poor, privileged families and needy workers with the total value of nearly VND500mil.
