Province gets animated with “Giving strength in Exam Season” program

Despite early rain, volunteers were still very enthusiastic in offering help to candidates on the first day of the “Giving strength in Exam Season” program.

 On June 30, volunteers of the program “Giving strength in Exam Season” were early present at Binh Duong Coach Station and Thanh Le Cultural Park to welcome candidates who will sit for the entrance exams to province-based universities and colleges.

 

Volunteers guiding candidates on streets in inner TDM town

 Although the weather was not good on the first day of the “Giving strength in Exam Season” program, volunteers of the program expressed their ardour and volunteer spirit for the community.

 The support program has not only bore a great meaning for the local education sector and candidates, but also upheld the solidarity tradition of the nation. It has also absorbed the participation of all walks of life from people and social charity organizations.

 This is the first year Binh Duong’s three universities, including Binh Duong University, TDM University and Binh Duong University for Economics and Technology will organize entrance exams, so the “Giving strength in Exam Season” program launched by provincial Youth Union has attracted large crowds of students.

 Volunteers of the support program will stand at Binh Duong Coach Station, TDM University, provincial Continuing Education Center, Thanh Le Cultural Park, Hung Vuong specialized high school…, to help guild candidates and their relatives in the entrance examinations to province-based universities and colleges.

 Pham Thi Thuy Hang, head of provincial Steering Board for the “Giving strength in Exam Season” program 2011 said: “Although this is the first time provincial Youth Union has organized the support program, the Steering Board has planned to have close cooperation with universities and colleges across the province…”

 Also according to her, the support program has so far mobilized the local lodging owners to provide as many as 800 free and cheap lodgings for candidates. MobiFone has also donated 100 shirts, hats and 50 SIM cards to the support program. Meanwhile, provincial Youth Union has provided 150 pairs of shoes and lunches for volunteers of the support program…
