Province promotes traditional craft village tourism

Binh Duong province is now home to many traditional craft villages on lacquer ware, sculpture, ceramics…Among them, Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer ware art is recognized as a national intangible heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

To promote traditional craft village tourism, along with disseminating the contents of provincial tourism development plan to 2020 and orientations to 2030, the province’s tourism sector will team up with localities and production facilities to design tourism sites at traditional craft villages. Accordingly, the sector will implement tours in association with visiting traditional craft villages; foster unique hand-made tourism products with diversified patterns; design experiencing tours at traditional craft villages…

At the VITM Ha Noi 2019, provincial Tourism Promotion Center displayed products from traditional craft villages. This was the foundation for the local tourism sector to open tours in combination with visiting traditional craft villages in the province.
