Provincial leaders visit, extend Tet greetings to Command of Naval Region 5

Provincial delegation, led by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, has just visited and extended Tet greetings to the Command of the Naval Region 5. Nguyen Dang Tien, Political Commissar of the Naval Region 5 and leaders of the High Command welcomed the delegation.

In the intimate and warm atmosphere of the days near the (Lunar New Year) festival 2022, Nguyen Van Loc informed comrades of the Command of the Naval Region 5 about results done by Binh Duong province in 2021. Over the past year, the province continued being heavily affected by Covid-19 pandemic. As of now, the province has controlled the pandemic. The province has brought the lives of people to the "new normal" state, gradually recovering production, business activities and economic development. With the efforts of the whole political system, many economic, cultural and social targets reached and exceeded the set plan with the per capita average income reaching VND 152 million. For his part, Mr.Tien said that the entire army in the unit made efforts to overcome difficulties, ensuring the management and protection of national territory and sovereignty over sea and islands while coordinating with localities in Covid-19 prevention and control. But, the unit still excellently completed the assigned tasks.

On behalf of the Party, government and people of Binh Duong province, Mr.Loc extended Tet greetings, presented gifts worth VND238million to the Command of the Naval Region 5 and 26 units. On this occasion, provincial Youth Union also donated VND10million and 50 SPO2 meters to the Youth Union of the Command of the Naval Region 5.
