In order to better serve readers, in recent years, Provincial Library has actively carried out projects and applications of information technology in operation, orienting readers towards digital library. The library signed a contract to exploit digital documents with 1,500,000 documents, digitalized 400 pages of geodetic documents about Binh Duong from 1900 to 1975. Particularly, during the Covid-19, Provincial Library made a number of video clips telling stories for children, wrote book introductions and posted them on its official website to serve readers.
Students from Binh Quoi Primary School (Thuan An City) read books at Provincial Library.
To implement the Prime Minister's Decision No. 329 / QD-TTg dated March 15th 2017 approving the project on reading culture development in the community up to 2020, and Plan No. 2994/KH-UBND dated December 29th 2017 of Provincial People's Committee implementing the project on reading culture development, Provincial Library actively carried out the rotation and transport of books and newspapers to remote communes, areas with many industrial zones, schools, communal cultural post offices, communal reading rooms etc. to serve a variety of readers, gradually increasing the proportion of people accessing books and reducing the difference in the enjoyment of reading culture between urban and rural areas. In addition, Provincial Library also actively cooperates with Youth Unions of districts, towns and cities in the province to give books and newspapers to students, and organize many fun games with rewards to attract children and teenagers.
