Provincial People’s Council deputies meet voters in Phu Giao, Ben Cat and Di An

Early November 6, Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council, along with other deputies of the People’s Councils of the province and Ben Cat city, held a meeting with voters in Phu An commune ahead of the regular year-end session for 2024.

At the meeting, deputies of the People’s Councils of the province and the city reported on the activities of the province and city’s People’s Councils over the past 10 months of 2024 and provided an overview of topics for the upcoming year-end session. They also addressed questions and concerns raised by voters in previous sessions. During this meeting, voters in Phu An commune raised issues related to inadequate compensation levels for the ĐT748 road clearance, visibility issues caused by the median on the ĐT744 road impacting traffic safety and ongoing flooding in Ben Giang and An Thuan hamlets, due to the lack of a drainage system…

*On the same day, Nguyen Thi My Hang, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission, along with deputies of the province and Phu Giao district’s People’s Councils, held a meeting with voters in Tam Lap commune before the year-end sessions of the province and district’s People’s Councils.

At the meeting, in the spirit of democracy and constructive discussion, voters in Tam Lap commune raised various issues, including a request on giving mementoes for individuals with over 20 years of service in Front work, difficulties in land division, site clearance and compensation for road projects and the need for specific solutions to improve waste sorting at the source.

*Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Propaganda-Education Department, along with deputies of the province and Di An city’s People’s Councils, met voters in Di An city’s Dong Hoa ward ahead of the year-end sessions of the province and city’s People’s Councils.

At the meeting, voters shared concerns on various issues, including land management, urban development, environmental sanitation, fire fighting-prevention, construction order, administrative reform, digital transformation, investment projects... Deputies of provincial People’s Councils and leaders of relevant departments and local authorities responded to each issue within their jurisdiction and noted other concerns to be forwarded to relevant agencies for answers to voters in the soonest time.
