Provincial Retired Teachers ‘Association further takes care of members ‘material and spiritual lives

On December 10, provincial Retired Teachers ‘Association held its 4th congress for the 2022-2027 tenure. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Yen Thu, Vice-Chairwoman of Vietnam Retired Teachers’Association.

In the 2017-2022 tenure, provincial Retired Teachers’ Association developed both in terms of organization and membership, with 2,584 members in 95 branches and associations. The association’s branches and groups went deep into activities to take care of members ‘material and spiritual lives, and encouraged retired teachers to further bring their wisdom and experience to contribute to the local cause of education and training. Members of the association demonstrated their exemplary pedagogy, capacity and wisdom in implementing and mobilizing people to well implement the local guidelines in many fields... In the 2022-2027 tenure, provincial Retired Teachers ‘Association has set out key tasks, including further mobilizing retired officials, teachers and staff at schools and educational institutions to join the association; taking better care of members’ material and spiritual lives…

The congress elected the Executive Board of the Association for the 2022-2027 tenure with 13 members. Le Van Thu was re-elected as Chairman of the association for the new tenure. On this occasion, 11 groups and 29 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit by the Vietnam Retired Teachers ‘Association; 9 collectives and 5 individuals were also awarded the certificates of merit by provincial People's Committee for making many contributions to the development of the association.
