Provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients fulfilled its set targets in 2013.
To further uphold its role as a bridge between donors and poor people, provincial Sponsoring Association for Disabled People, Orphans and Poor Patients has set up some concrete targets for 2014, including mobilizing VND3bln for its fund; providing cataract surgery for 200 blind people with difficulties; donating 400 bicycles and scholarships to orphans; coordinating with relevant agencies to provide rehabilitation surgery for 50 disabled people; mobilizing 50 wheelchairs for disabled people; introducing vocational training and jobs to 70 disabled people; supporting livelihood for a commune with new rural construction…
The association also aims at presenting 2,500 gifts to the disabled on the International Day of People with Disabilities; building or upgrading benevolence houses; giving financial support for 30 needy cases; mobilizing 5,000 meals for poor patients and providing free medicine and gifts for 1,000 poor patients.
