Provincial Tax Department collects 230 billion VND from the decision to enforce tax debt and late tax payment

According to the Provincial Tax Department, during the first 6 months of 2024, besides organizations and individuals that fulfilled their tax payment obligations, there were still many people who pay taxes late, owe taxes, or do not comply with penalty decisions of tax administration.

Accordingly, cumulatively by the end of June 2024, the Provincial Tax Department issued 1,170 enforcement decisions with an amount of VND 882 billion. This included enforcing bank accounts with the amount of 353 billion VND, stopping the use of invoices with the amount of 529 billion VND, and collecting 230 billion VND in tax debt.
