Retail revenue nears VND 33,000 billion

According to Binh Duong provincial Statistics Office, retail sales of goods in the first 2 months of 2023 reached more than VND 32,988 billion, increasing by 16.4% over the same period, in which, food and food products VND 12,578.2 billion, increasing by 13.8%, garment group VND 1,594,7 billion, increasing by 24.3%, household goods group more than VND 5,630 billion, increasing by 14.7%, petroleum products VND 2,453 billion, increasing by 21.1%, and other commodities increasing by 36.4%.

Along with that, revenue from accommodation, catering and travel services in the first two months of 2023 was estimated at VND 4,755.9 billion, increasing by 6.2% over the same period. According to the provincial Statistics Office, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in February 2023 increased by 0.8% over the previous month and by 3.2% over the same period last year. The average of the first two months of 2023 increased by 3.2% over the same period.
