Saving books donated to workers with fatal illness

Ben Cat town-based Industrial Parks (Ips)’Trade Union, on May 9, held a ceremony to launch the Workers’ Month, Action Month on Labor Safety and Hygiene 2019 under the theme of “Each Trade Union branch brings the benefit to trade unionists” and “Strengthening risk assessment, management of labor safety-hygiene at workplace”, with 200 participants representing more than 95,000 local trade unionists and laborers.

At the ceremony, town-based Ips’Trade Union asked for its branches to regularly coordinate with enterprises in complying with regulations on labor and trade union; diversifying activities taking care of workers’ spiritual and material lives; speeding up dissemination of information about labor safety among workers; building up a safe working environment…

On this occasion, four Trade Union locals donated 4 saving books worth between VND5million-VND10million each to workers with fatal illness or hit by workplace accidents. Town-based Ips’Trade Union also offered 51 gifts worth VND500,000 each in cash to disadvantaged workers.
