Schools allowed to build more classrooms

On July 30, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung paid a working session with the provincial department of Education and Training to learn about preparation work for the new school year of 2014-2015.

Until now, the entire province increases additional 27,900 students at all levels, mainly in localities such as Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat towns and Thu Dau Mot city. In order to meet requirements of education, the local sector of Education and Training continues to develop schooling network and to strengthen material facilities and teaching and learning aids for local schools.

Expectedly, till the opening ceremony of the new school year of 2014-2015, as many as 23 schools will be put into use. The sector also repaired and built auxiliary works as well as equipped facilities with the total value of about VND65bil.

At present, the local department of Education and Training has recruited 1,816 employees for all academic levels and fostered knowledge for cadres and teachers in this summer.

At the working session, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung reminded the sector to check exactly quantity of students. In addition, the local administration allows schools having much land area to build more classrooms for students.
