Strict penalty proposed for three Chinese people infringing COVID-19 prevention control regulations

On May 20, Dr. Huynh Minh Chin, Director of Bau Bang district Medical Center, said that the center had proposed the district Steering Committee for COVID-19 disease prevention control and the district  Industrial Parks' Management Board (Urban Industrial Development Enterprise) to strictly penalize three Chinese people, who violated epidemic prevention control regulations; and to temporarily suspend these people from entering their companies to work when they have not fully complied with anti-epidemic regulations (including 2 people who have not declared their stay in their locality as prescribed).

These three Chinese people did not make medical declarations as returning to Bau Bang district to work, did not notify medical centers after completing quarantine and other requirements on epidemic prevention control as signed after completing concentrated quarantine in Lang Son province. These three Chinese are working at a factory located in Bau Bang district Urban Industrial Park.

 In order to well implement epidemic prevention and control work in the area, Bau Bang district Health Center recommended that individuals, after concentrated isolation in other provinces and cities, return to work and relevant companies must strictly comply with regulations on epidemic prevention control; strictly implement commitments after completing the concentrated isolation and returning to Bau Bang district.

In the afternoon of the same day, Bau Bang district Health Center also took the 4th test sample of these three Chinese people and sent it to provincial Center for Disease Control for testing according to regulations.
