Surveys of historic and cultural relics implemented in Ben Cat town and Thu Dau Mot city

Last weekend, the provincial Socio-Culture Committee led by Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the provincial Committee for Education and Propaganda paid surveys to historic and cultural relics in Ben Cat town and Thu Dau Mot city.

At Ben Cat town, the delegation visited Iron Triangle Area, Cau Dinh station, Long Hung Temple and Phu An bamboo village. After that, the delegation implemented surveys to Tan An Temple, Dai Hung jar kiln, Phu Loi Jail and provincial Museum at Thu Dau Mot city.

The delegation focused on launching legal regulations, results of implementing preservation, museum and promoting historic and cultural relic values from 2011 so far, the State management on relic and more.

As such, the provincial Socio-Culture Committee implemented historic and cultural surveys at 5 districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city such as Thu Dau Mot city, Ben Cat town, Tan Uyen town, Dau Tieng district and North Tan Uyen district.

After these surveys, the provincial Socio-Culture Committee will have a working session with the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, provincial Museum and People’s Committees at districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city on launching and implementing preservation, museum, restoration and promotion of historic and cultural relics in the province.
