Sweet childhood with "pink lotuses"

Accompanying children in “Bup sen hong” (Pink Lotus) Festival to provinces and cities, we felt so young, because of their innocence amiableness. They gave different memories and emotions to each province or city they went to. This year, the festival in Binh Duong made many beautiful impressions in the 2016 summer…

Among many playgrounds for children, “Bup sen hong” Festival was a pleasant one in summer. Children performed the most characteristic of their region. They lovely and attractively introduced specific colors of their hometown to friends everywhere.

At My Phuoc theater, small soldiers of Central Highland mountains were so lovely in “Buon Ho vay goi” song, making the atmosphere so “hot”. Then, children of Tay Ninh Children House proudly brought their “specialities” onto the stage. Lam Nguyen Phuong Vy under Tay Ninh Children House said: “After 7 times at “Bup sen hong” Festival, the festival in Binh Duong has been the most impressive. Each festival brought different feelings to me, friends can be more connected, can have more fun. To me, this is a program containing many childhood memories…”

In the show, there were also sweet folk songs from Children House of Ca Mau, Phung Ngoc Lien, Bac Lieu, or lovely lively performances of HCMC Children House… Ms. Hoang Diem, worker of CF ViNa Company in Ben Cat Town, said: “I brought my child to this festival, but I myself was also attracted by performances here. Every province, city is a beautiful color…”

All performances at three stages (provincial Children House, Thanh Le Theatre and Cultural – Movies Center) really surprised audiences by singing, dancing ability of children. Each unit was a specific color, but all sent meaningful messages. Many performances were elaborately and beautifully staged, demonstrated the life of upland, ethnic minority children through animated dances and songs. In addition, there were performances praising the summer with magical dreams of childhood, with folk songs; praising the pride of young pioneers; demonstrating the fresh green of mountains and calling for everybody to love the motherland and protect forests…

Morning Jul 20, the festival organizing committee transferred a “Bup sen hong” house to Hoang Thi Tuyet Nhu, a pupil of An Linh secondary school in Phu Thinh I hamlet, An Thai commune, Phu Giao district. She has been an excellent pupil in 8 consecutive years but has a difficult family circumstance. This was a traditional activity of Southern children, youngster centers to support poor-but-excellent pupils. On this occasion, the organizers also visited and presented 20 milk boxes to children of Ngoi Sao Nho kindergarten under provincial Young Worker and Young Labors Supporting Center (Ben Cat Town).
