Early December 27, Tan Uyen city’s People's Committee held a ceremony to announce provincial People's Committee's Decision to rank the local Medical Center from the third grade to the second one. The event was attended by Vo Van Ba, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission and representatives of leaders of departments, sectors of the province and city.
The city’s Medical Center was established in 2013 on the basis of merging 3 units. Over the past years, the city’s Medical Center was proactive in consolidating criteria for upgrading to the second level, focusing on perfecting its organizational structure, improving management capacity and professional qualifications. As of now, the center has had a scale of 200 beds, with the orientation of developing 400 beds, spacious facilities, modern medical machinery and equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
