Tan Uyen makes efforts in dealing with people’s demand for hi-quality housing

Over the past time, Tan Uyen town’s real estate market was very animatedly. But, according to experts, the town’s development of housing projects with convenient services and recreational areas has not kept up with the market’s demand yet.

Great demand

Along with the local fast socio-economic development, the demand for housing of people and foreign experts in Tan Uyen town is increasing. But, the town now faces the shortage of hi-quality houses.

Provincial People’s Committee has approved a scheme recognizing Tan Uyen town as a third-class city. This result will be a fulcrum for the local socio-economic development. But, the town has still not reached 4 criteria of a third-class city, including the average housing floor area and the land for urban public works…

Over the past time, according to market research companies, many investors carried out housing projects at town-based industrial parks to serve the demand for housing of immigrant and foreign laborers. But, these projects only focused on sellinh land plots while urban-residential areas with convenient services and recreational areas are still scarce.

Always creating favorable conditions for investors

Binh Duong is among the country’s top localities in FDI attraction, along with thousands of foreign experts and laborers. According to CBRE, the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, as of July 2017, among the 15,000 foreigners working for a long time in the province, there were 8,500 registering for temporary residence. To catch this, many real estate companies at home and abroad have made housing projects in the province, especially hi-quality housing ones. For example, Setia Corporation of Malaysia built the Eco Xuan urban area. Tokyu Group of Japan in collaboration with Becamex IDC poured over VND1billion into the Sora Gardens real estate project…

For Tan Uyen town, leaders of the town said that the town will hasten the progress of construction of key works, aiming to meet criteria of a third-class city in 2018. Accordingly, the town will focus on such works as upgrading DH425 street, General Hospital of 200 beds, walking street in Uyen Hung ward, DH406 street, Uyen Hung park…The town will also perfect the planning of Uyen Hung development zone to create a motivation for the local urban development as oriented; further improve procedures to call for investors to make key works under the socialization form, creating a highlight for the local socio-economic development.

According to the assessment of investors, the real estate market of Binh Duong in general and Tan Uyen town in particular is still on growth. But, the majority of people have been unfamiliar with living in hi-class apartments. It is hoped that with investors’ vanguard in building standard housing projects, methodically-built apartments with optimal services will soon absorb more clients.
