Targets of industry-trade sector reach high growth

Early December 25, provincial Department of Industry and Trade held a conference to review its activities in 2019 and extend tasks for 2020, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The sector’s targets on export growth, retail value, index of industrial production, e-business index…reached high growth in 2019. Noticeably, the province’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was more than VND227.8trillion, up 19.2% compared to the same period or 101% of against the year’s plan.

Speaking at the conference, Mr.Dung spoke highly of achievements done by the sector in 2019 while instructing the sector to carry out some major tasks for 2020, including implementing programs, projects of the province, boosting investment attraction in trade; strengthening trade promotion…, contributing to promoting the growth of the local economic targets in 2020.

The conference also commended and rewarded 7 collectives and 35 individuals winning excellent achievements in activities of the sector in 2019; awarded the certificates of merit to 6 outstanding collectives belonging to enterprises in the province.
