The province has only 21.8% of drug retailers having accounts of national pharmaceutical database

According to Department of Health, the province currently has 1,800 retail selling stores of medicines reaching GPP standards, including 750 pharmacies. However, as of mid-April 2014, only 393/1,800 pharmacies (accounting for 21.8%) were installed, had accounts, and 112/393 (28.5%) establishments carried out data entry, data connection to the National Pharmaceutical Database system.

In order to strictly comply with the plan set by Department of Health according to provisions of Health Ministry's Circular No. 02/2018 / TT-BYT on 22 Jan 2018, provincial Department of Health asked medical centers in districts, towns and city in the province continue to inform drug retailers in the area to perform the application of information technology, network connection according to the prescribed roadmap; At the same time, remind drug retailers with granted accounts to connect with the National Pharmaceutical Database, and sell prescription drugs must have a doctor's prescription.
