Thien Dong Club wins trophy at Di An town Football Tournament 2014

Started from April 28, Di An town Football Tournament 2014 held by Di An town Center for Culture and Information wrapped up on Sept. 28. As many as 15 football teams coming from wards, agencies, factories and clubs across Di An town were divided into 4 groups.

Overcoming rivals, 2 teams of Di An town Public Security and Thien Dong Club competed in the final match. As a result, Thien Dong Club won victory with the 4-2 score.

Earlier, Tan Dong Hiep ward team grabbed the third prize after defeating An Binh ward with the 3-2 score. At the closing ceremony, the organizing board granted prizes to excellent individuals.

Accordingly, goalkeeper Tran Van Hieu from Thien Dong Club received the excellent goalkeeper while Dinh Huu Thuc from An Binh ward grabbed the King of scorer with 7 scores at the tournament.

Di An town Football Tournament 2014 is held to celebrate the 15^th anniversary of Di An district’s re-establishment and simultaneously bounds for the 2014 national sport congress.
