“Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love” program contains significant messages

“Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love” program is one of events under the activity chain of Binh Duong youths bounding for homeland seas and islands. The program is expected to take place in 3 phases, starting from the end of Oct. 2014.


Binh Duong provincial youth union holds a press conference to introduce “Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love” program.

The organizing board of “Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love” program said that this is an activity co-held by the provincial Youth Union and Cuong Phat Ceramic Company and under the 2014 program of “Binh Duong youths bound for homeland seas and islands”. Participants in the program include youths, unionists, laborers, students, people and more.

Accordingly, on unburnt ceramic dishes, the program participants will draw, write wishes, messages of Binh Duong youths, unionists, children and people to soldiers, cadres, fishermen and people living and working at border areas of the country.

After participants’ ceramic works are completed, the organizing board will send these works to Cuong Phat Ceramic Company to burn them into finished products. After that, these finished products will be served for exhibition and dissemination. In addition, the provincial youth union will allocate these finished products for youth union at grassroot levels across the province to grant to soldiers, cadres, marine policemen and fishermen and children at border and sea and island areas.

According to plan of the provincial youth union’s standing committee, in the first phase of “Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love” program will be officially implemented on the occasion of the provincial Youth Union’s congress (Oct. 26, 2014) at Center for Convention and Exhibition in Binh Duong New City.

The program will take place from 8 a.m to 5 p.m with the participation of 100 arrivals from the provincial Children’s House, students of Binh Duong Intermediate School of Art and Culture and deputies of the provincial Youth Union. The second phase is expected to take place on Nov. 6-8 at Cuong Phat Ceramic Company (335, Binh Duong Avenue, Hung Dinh commune, Thuan An town). This phase will attract about 700 participants from Thuan An, Di An towns, the provincial youth union for corporate bloc, Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College, Binh Duong Medicine College, Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong University, Binh Duong University of Technology and Economics and local people.

Meanwhile, the third phase of this program will be held at the provincial Administration Center’s Square on Nov. 29 with the participation of about 200 people. The organizing board also will assess and grant prizes to 50 works winning the set criteria.

Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, secretary of the provincial youth union said that the provincial Youth Union has held chains of the program of “Binh Duong youths bound for homeland seas and islands”. These chains include “1,000 people take photos bounding for homeland seas and islands”, “Binh Duong land and people bound for homeland seas and islands”, “Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love”.

“We hope that through the program of “Thousands of ceramic dishes send thousands of love”, patriotism among youths and unionists will be inspired strongly. Simultaneously, the program will offer a good chance for local youths and unionists to extend their love to cadres, soldiers, fishermen and people at border, sea and island areas”, Trang added.

Moreover, the program contains a very significant message of upholding value of traditional craft villages in the province, of which ceramics is one of local famous products loved by local and foreign customers.

Hopefully, ceramic dishes containing love of Binh Duong youths and people will be a significant gift for cadres, soldiers, marine policemen and fishermen working and living at border, sea and island areas of the country.
