Thu Dau Mot University yesterday held the 2012-2013 new school year opening ceremony and welcomed new students of the 4th course.   The provincial People’s Council chairman Vu Minh Sang beats drum to start new school year at Thu Dau Mot University.

Founded on June, 24, 2009, the university has reached remarkable results in training quality. The 2012-2013 is the second year the university organizes the university entrance exams, luring examines across 43 provinces and cities nationwide. At present, the university has admitted 4,150 students for the first phase and will recruit additional 1,700 ones for the second phase, lifting its total students up to 13,000.  

Attending the opening ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Huynh Van Nhi highly valued the university’s efforts and hoped that the university would excel its set goals as well as improve quality and efficiency of training and focus on scientific research and high quality manpower training for the sake of local and regional and national socio-economic development.
