Thuan An launches Earth Day, realizes pilot model on “green quarter”

Thuan An town’s Youth Union has just held a ceremony to launch the “Earth Day” 2019 and implement a pilot “Green quarter” model in Hung Dinh ward’s Hung Loc quarter, with the participation of 500 Youth Union members together with numerous people.

The program aims to call for the local agencies, sectors, organizations and individuals to take action for the environment; regularly engage significant activities in environmental protection, contributing to step by step building up a green, clean and nice locality.

After the ceremony, the Youth Union members and people got involved in cleaning up streets, removing illegal advertising boards, planting 500 green trees in response of the “Green quarter” model…
