To accelerate the implementation of "Conservation and development of Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer village" project

 On April 15, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presided over a meeting with Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee to check the progress of project "Conservation and development of Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer village in combination with tourism in Thu Dau Mot City" (referred to as the project). Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Thu Dau Mot City and related departments and branches also attended the meeting.  

According to the report, Thu Dau Mot City is currently executing the development project of Tuong Binh Hiep lacquer village in a synchronous and effective manner with a total cost of VND 219 billion. Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee made recommendations to the Project’s Steering Committee on land procedures, such as land procedures, compensation, support for land clearance, additional fund for the construction of roads connected to the project...

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Hoang Thao emphasized: Due to the urgency of preserving and developing traditional lacquer village Tuong Binh Hiep, it is necessary to carry out the project immediately and put into a specific program. He proposed People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to quickly have solutions to problems and difficulties to accelerate the project implementation to achieve greater efficiency; at the same time, to devise an overall plan from outside the welcoming gate to construction area of the craft village; to further examine so that the project guarantees aesthetic and sustainable features.
