Department of Health reported that the 4-level medical model of the districts, towns, and city included Clinical Office, District Hospital, and Center of Demography and Family Planning.Up to date, the medical sector in districts, towns, and city has newly recruited 82 university officers, 97 training officers and 71 graduate officers.Addressing the meeting, Chair of Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh Cung informed that for the time to come, the medical sector shall merge up the 3 levels while maintaining Clinical Office to facilitate synchronous and effective operations.As for Thu Dau Mot City hospital or regional clinic should be built up in terms of operations and equipments.He also noted that the sector should determine functions and tasks of Clinical Office and rights of directors and deputy directors.As for management regime, the parallel management regime is conducted in vertical sector and local authority under local leadership.The medical sector is preparing for reporting by beginning of December to Provincial People’s Committee before forwarding to the Standing Committee of provincial Party Committee for final conclusion.
