To develop a new rural commune integrated with Bach Dang Smart Village

On March 21, Mai Hung Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear reports on the progress of New Rural Commune Construction Project integrated with Smart Village in Bach Dang commune, Tan Uyen Town.

The project is to build a model new rural commune combined with smart village in Bach Dang commune to develop sustainable new rural construction, contributing to local economic growth, increasing income on the basis of applying advanced science and technology into agricultural production combined with tourism development so that the locality becomes a worth-living place and friendly to the natural environment.

According to the project, the town will allocate investment resources for Bach Dang commune with solutions such as: Perfecting and improving the value of agricultural products, combining tours with agricultural production; renovating the infrastructure system for agriculture and tourism; building utilities for tourism; solutions for community development, human resources...

With specific solution groups in line with characteristics of the commune, the selected solutions are highly feasible, can be implemented and applied in appropriate stages, not only in the 2021 - 2025 period but also until 2030 and after 2040. It is expected that the total capital plan for the project implementation is over VND 702 billion.

Speaking at the meeting, Mai Hung Dung emphasized that the central goal of the Bach Dang Smart Village Project is to improve the quality of people's lives. Therefore, in the process of implementation, the locality needs to follow to the criteria to create consensus and utilize people's strength for the Smart Village building.
