Within the series of promotion events serving conference "Continuing the tradition, Binh Duong province’s journey over a quarter of a century: Achievements and prospects", the provincial cultural, sports and tourism sector also organized some very meaningful activities, in which there was an exhibition held by the Provincial Museum on this topic. By this time, the preparation for this exhibition has been completed, and is put into service from April 19.
Binh Duong ceramic products from traditional to modern styles will be introduced at the exhibition.
Le Van Phuoc, Director of the Provincial Museum, said that under the direction of provincial Department of Cultural, Sports and Tourism, during the conference, Provincial Museum was tasked with carrying out the exhibition "Continuing the tradition, Binh Duong province’s journey over a quarter of a century: Achievements and prospects." For nearly two weeks, all officials of the Provincial Museum assigned to the exhibition worked very urgently, earnestly to prepare materials, images and artifacts for thematic contents of the exhibition; at the same time, coordinated with art consultants to ensure the completion of assigned tasks with the highest productivity and efficiency, meet the requirements of provincial leaders.
"All preparations were done favorably and on schedule. On the basis of documents and images of previous exhibitions, the Provincial Museum planned for a specific and detailed display that guarantees sufficient contents for the propagation and promotion of the conference. Basically, by this time, about 90% workload to prepare for the display has been completed. If nothing changes, from April 15, construction will begin and will be completed in two days. By April 17, provincial leaders will check to put into service from April 19," Phuoc said.
This scientific conference is of national stature and scale. This is an opportunity for Binh Duong to reassess its achievements across all fields along its development path, especially over the last 25 years. Based on those assessments, Binh Duong will develop the achievements, continue to strive for greater achievements, and become a smart city. Therefore, according to Phuoc, the contents of this exhibition will conveying achievements of Binh Duong province in all fields, from economy, culture, society, health to foreign affairs, defense – security social security works, to guests as well as the public. As expected, the exhibition will display about 200 documentary photos, 2 citation tables, 7 charts and 3 maps, that describe comprehensively important events on the integration and development path of the Party and people of Binh Duong province over the last 25 years (from 1997-2022).
Also on this occasion, the Provincial Museum displayed 80 artifacts, including three treasures of Binh Duong province that were recognized as national treasures: animal statues of Dốc Chùa, wooden jars of Phu Chanh bronze drum lid, Phu Chanh wood weaving kits; and two traditional products of Binh Duong province are included in the national intangible cultural heritage portfolio: Binh Duong lacquer and ceramic products from traditional to modern styles. Besides, there will be items of fitness and sports achievements of Binh Duong province in the past time.
The exhibition will take place on April 19 and 20 at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. After that, the exhibition will continue to be opened until the 47th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30). Le Van Phuoc added that the purpose of this exhibition is to introduce the socio-economic, defense and security achievements of Binh Duong province over 25 years (1997-2022) for the conference "Continuing the tradition, Binh Duong province’s journey over a quarter of a century: Achievements and prospects". The exhibition will contribute to creating a spreading effect among civil servants, party members and workers, people's classes in the province; to propagate and introduce imprints of the Party, government and people of Binh Duong province on the way of integration and development. The precious documentary images, artifacts and information displayed in this event will contribute to promoting the image of a united, dynamic, creative Binh Duong that is constantly rising up with new development orientations in the future.
As expected, in the contents of the exhibition, there will be about 200 documentary photos, 2 citation tables, 7 charts and 3 maps, reflecting relatively comprehensively the marks on the integration and development path of the Party and People of Binh Duong province in the past time, especially in the last 25 years (from 1997-2022).
